Now is a perfect time to support Clark Planetarium’s mission of science education in the community. Every dollar you spend helps us sustain our educational and community outreach programs.

So, launch your adventure today and explore the outer reaches of space by building your own customized Clark Planetarium membership. Start with a Rocket Membership, then add on components that best meet your needs.Membership Card

  • $25 + tax - Booster -Membership add-ons

Join Now

Rocket Memberships are for primary Planetarium members and cardholders.  It is non-transferable and is associated with specific names and addresses.

Add your crew to the Rocket Membership with Boosters.  Boosters are flexible, add-on memberships that can be used by anyone if a Rocket Member is present. (Limit 10 add-ons per Rocket Membership)

To activate your membership and retrieve a physical card, new members must visit Clark Planetarium in-person.

  • 15% discount at the Planet Fun Store (telescopes, binoculars, and related accessories excluded)

  • Invitations to members-only events
  • Free or discounted admission to participating ASTC science centers and museums nationwide (outside a 90-mile radius of Clark Planetarium and the member's residence)

Many employers will match your membership donation/contribution to the Clark Planetarium. Be sure to check and see if your employer will match your membership donation/contribution to Clark Planetarium to maximize your support of our education program.

Membership Rules and Restrictions

  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. A card must be presented to receive benefits.
  • Memberships must be current, not lapsed, in order to receive benefits.
  • Membership benefits are exclusive to individuals listed on the membership card and the allowed number of guests.
  • Some special events, pre-registered group events, school field trips, and birthday parties have fees that are not waived with a membership.
  • ASTC Travel Passports, or reciprocal memberships, are valid only outside a 90-mile radius from your residential address. For more information about ASTC, and for a list of participating institutions, visit http://www.astc.org.
  • Clark Planetarium reserves the right to change membership policies and benefits at any time, without notice.
  • Failure to comply with membership rules and regulations may result in the loss of membership privileges.
  • Membership is valid one year from activation.

Join our Constellation Club

The Constellation Club is a special group of individuals who pledge $300 or more annually to help support the educational programs and mission of Clark Planetarium. Constellation Club members enjoy all the benefits of regular membership plus VIP access to special events and film premiers.

Make a Donation

Curious minds seek inspiration. Join a community of donors committed to expanding opportunities for education, outreach, and STEAM-related experiences as a one-time contributor or monthly donor to Clark Planetarium. Your contribution will help us fulfill our mission to inspire and engage curious minds by connecting people to the wonder of the universe.

You can make a one-time donation or sign up to make ongoing monthly donations. All contributions fund ongoing planetarium efforts, including underwriting planetarium field trip costs and outreach visits to more than 100,000 Utah students each year. 

Regardless of how you choose to support us, know that your contribution will help us fulfill our mission to inspire and engage curious minds by connecting people to the wonder of the universe.

Buy a Gift Card

Give the gift of membership! Purchase a pre-loaded gift card for the membership amount of your choice either online or at Clark Planetarium.

If you purchase online, we are happy to mail the gift card to you or the gift recipient.

Gift Cards

To ensure maximum value, we will not start the membership until the gift card is brought into Clark Planetarium for redemption.
