The Body Project

The Body Project is a four-session body acceptance intervention that was designed to help adolescent girls and young women resist sociocultural pressures to conform to the thin-ideal and reduce their pursuit of thinness. It is evidence-based and has been shown to decrease propensity for eating disorders and improve body image long-term. This group is for youth ages 13-17 and seeks to help participants recognize unhealthy physical expectations in the media and among peers as well as take steps to improve their view of their own bodies and appearance.

This is a free 4-week program held online.
