Salt Lake County Aging & Adult Services does not own, manage, or provide any senior housing units.

Services from the Aging & Adult Services Housing Liaison Program provides those who are 60 years of age and older with advocacy and assistance as they navigate the complexities of senior housing.

The resources below are listed by age.

Moderate cost housing for people over the age of 55 is available throughout Salt Lake County. Rent varies from building to building and can change over time based on several factors.

  • Call the buildings that interest you and inquire ask about rent, fees, utilities, and other monthly costs before you apply. Some housing options can be found in the 55+ Book under the heading “Moderate Cost Projects.” Most of these listings are reserved for people 55 and older.
  • Utah Community Action is an organization that helps individuals and families apply for and attain affordable housing.

If you are 62 years of age or older, you may qualify for Subsidized Senior Housing. Subsidized Senior Housing rent is 30% of your income.
