Salt Lake County Recycling Guidelines

The Salt Lake Valley's population has been growing fast and steady for years.  Salt Lake County is now home to more than 1.1 million people, spread throughout 21 major cities and towns and additional unincorporated communities.  When we set out to create a county-wide recycling guide, our goal was to make a guide that held true for every resident in every part of the county, regardless of where residents specifically lived.

That said, the guide below is just a starting point.  If you are seeking a more complete guide for what is recyclable in your own city, town, or community, please contact the organization responsible for collecting your curbside recycling can.

Not sure who that is?  Looking to setup recycling at your home for the first time?  Check out our Recycling In Your Community guide for more information!
