2023 Summer Corporate Games will start on July 29th

Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation's Corporate Games is a variety of sports and non-sport events that create an "Olympic" style competition for businesses in Salt Lake County.

Your company will compete against companies of similar size in a specific number of Cup events, earning points as you win, participate, and volunteer. The company with the most points will be crowned with the Corporate Cup.

Held in the months of July, August, and September, these friendly competitions build teams and individuals through fun and rewarding activities, including wellness walks, basketball, trivia, soccer, scrabble, and a whole lot more.

Frequently Asked Questions

The majority of our programs are team events. However, we have "individual" registration for some and we do maintain "extra player" lists for all sports. To add your name to any list, call (385) 468-1670.

All of our adult leagues require participants to be 16 or older. Participants who are 16 or 17 are required to have a parental waiver signed. Waivers are available at the Sports Office or the program site.

Most leagues only take 8 teams per league. We do not save spots for teams, so you must pay for the league in order to be considered "registered" and have a spot. In the past we have allowed priority registration for returning teams, but we have now gone to a first-come, first-serve registration process.

No more than 20 participants per roster.

Salt Lake County has three skill levels for league: Recreation, Semi-Competitive, and Competitive. We offer different skill levels to provide evenly matched and enjoyable games for everyone.

  • Recreation: This is for your everyday guy who likes to play ball. This is a good place to start if you are not sure where you fit in. Teams are to allowed to have any college basketball players for this league unless the player is over the age of 40.
  • Semi-Competitive: Athletic guys that have played some organized basketball. Many high school athletes or skilled basketball players looking for some good competition. Teams are allowed no more than two D1 or D2 college players per team in this league.
  • Competitive: Very athletic and skilled basketball players. This league can be ex-college (D1, D2, or Jr. College), ex-high school athletes or really talented players. There is no limit to college players on a team in this league.

Most locations are 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM. We may have different times depending on the locations. Games start no earlier that 5:45 PM and start no later than 10:00 PM.

SLCO sports office has a list of individual players looking for teams. The list to the link is posted on the basketball page.

Our Spring/Summer league includes 14 games, Scorekeepers, USSSA Umpires and sanction fee, Batting Stats, Field Prep, 1st and 2nd place team prizes, and a league leading hitter award.

Our Fall league includes all of the above, but only includes 7 games instead of 14 games.

A returning team is one who played in our Spring/Summer Slow Pitch Softball League previous Spring. If you did not play in our Spring League, but you played in our previous Fall League, you are NOT considered a returning team for the Spring season. You would be considered a returning team for our upcoming Fall season. To secure your spot as a returning team you must sign up BEFORE the returning team deadline.

You can still sign up during the returning team registration dates, but you will want to register for the league you are wanting to play in this year. If all 8 teams return to the new league you signed up for, we will ask you to move to a different night/location or go back to your spot from last year. If only 7/8 teams come back to the league you are wanting, we will take the first registered new team to that league. So...if you are a returning team who wants to switch leagues, I suggest you register ASAP to secure your spot.

You can still sign up during the returning team registration dates, but you will just have to choose a new league to play in. If all 8 teams return to the new league you signed up for, we will ask you to move to a different night/location. If only 7/8 teams come back to the league you are wanting, we will take the first registered new team to that league. Therefore, I suggest you register ASAP to secure your spot in the league you really want.

Any returning teams who do not sign up by the deadline will lose their spot from last year and be considered a new team for the  season. Therefore your spot would only be available on a first-registered basis starting with new team registrations.

Our Adult Softball Leagues are sanctioned by USSSA, so we go by their rules. We do have some rule exceptions which are listed in our Salt Lake County Guidebook.
