Covid-19 Updates
In accordance with the State’s Utah Together plan and guidance from the Salt Lake County Health Department, we have moved forward with a phased re-opening of park amenities and recreation facilities. In order to ensure the safety of patrons and staff, each recreation facility will be operated under new modified operating procedures in compliance with current state health guidelines. All parks and recreation amenities will be subject to social distancing guidelines and dependent on the local status in the State’s plan.

Programs & Events
1/11/21 - Recreation is offering new alternative programs that patrons can participate it in from home or outdoors. View current programs.
Due to ongoing concerns regarding the increased spread of COVID-19, the following remain on hold until further notice:
- In-person fitness classes
- Community recreation programs
- Facility rentals
- Drop-in childcare
Recreation
11/9/20 Due to ongoing concerns regarding the increased spread of COVID-19, amenities are limited and face coverings are required AT ALL TIMES* in all Parks and Recreation facilities.
*Exceptions: when swimming in the pool or by children under the age of 2.
Parks
11/9/20 Face coverings are required outdoors when within 6 feet of people outside one's household.
County parks, trails, and Wheeler Farm are open to the public.
Golf
11/9/20 Due to ongoing concerns regarding the increased spread of COVID-19, Golf is limited to individual play or groups from the same household.
Face coverings continue to be required AT ALL TIMES* in all Parks and Recreation facilities, including golf clubhouses.
Face coverings are required outdoors when within 6 feet of people outside one's household.
All six County-operated golf courses are open with modified operations. All tee-times are currently by reservation and pre-pay only.
