GINA: Gender Informed Needs Assessment

Release Recommendation Reports are conducted at the SLCO Jail and administered by a CJS Case Manager. They include the Public Safety Assessment (PSA) qualifying score as well as gather and provide information to the courts to make an informed pretrial release decision.

What to Expect

During the GINA assessment, you will be asked questions covering prior criminal justice involvement, residence information, support networks, education/employment history, substance use history, medical needs, trauma, etc.

The information gathered will be compiled and a CJS case manager will work with the client to create a detailed case plan to address need areas and remove barriers.
