What is playing now and how much does it cost?

At www.Artix.org choose the "Advanced Search Feature" to find a listing of all dates and times using the name of the production, venue, or producer. Links are available to buy a ticket online or view a description of the event 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What should I wear?

Business attire is generally appropriate for most performances.

 

Where should I park and how much does it cost?

Directions to each venue are available at www.arttix.org/.

 

In general, parking is available at the SALT PALACE which is centrally located west of the Capitol Theatre between 200 South Street and South Temple Street, and West Temple Street and 200 West Street. Abravanel Hall lies north on 123 West South Temple. Please expect to walk one block to the Capitol Theatre. Enter from 200 South between West Temple and 200 West.

 

Parking located closer to the Capitol Theatre can be found at:

  • Wells Fargo Bank Building (directly east, nights/weekends only)
  • American Plaza Parking (directly south, across 200 South Street)
  • American Express Building (directly west, enter from West Temple Street)
  • On the street (one ADA accessible space and metered parking is available on 200 South Street)
  • Ampco Beehive Parking, 801 364-7275 all in Salt Lake City
  • First Interstate Plaza, 50 West 200 South

Can I bring children/babies?

This usually depends on the performance. Most producers recommend no children under 8 years of age.

 

Will the show be over before the last TRAX train leaves?

Depending on the weekday the last TRAX train leaves downtown about 8 pm to 11:20 pm depending on the station. For a TRAX schedule go to www.utabus.com.

 

May I speak to someone in your Advertising Department?

Salt Lake County Center for the Arts and/or ArtTix, as a non-profit organization, does not have an advertising department. Tenant groups that might be interested are:

Can I exchange my season theatre tickets?

It is necessary to call the Season Ticket Provider. Each performing company has its own guidelines for refunds and/or exchanges.
