Jr. Jazz Basketball

Jr. Jazz, the longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA, has been shaping the face of local amateur sports since 1983. Beginning with only 7,133 participants, this popular program has grown to impact the lives of 50,000 to 60,000 youth annually. Kindergartners through 12th-graders are eligible to participate, and individual programs are managed through recreation centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and Nevada. Jr. Jazz emphasizes the development of teamwork and fundamental basketball skills, accompanied by positive adult participation.

Jr. Jazz 2015-2016 Season

Our Jr. Jazz 2015-2016 season will be open for registration in October! We will be running Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade Instructional leagues; as well as Girls 3rd-8th Grade, and also both Girls and Boys High School 9th-12th Grade League.

All Boys 3rd-8th grade will be run at Holladay-Lions Rec Center.

 

All participants Kindergarten-8th grade will receive 2 tickets to a Jazz game.

 

Game Schedules:

 

Instructional Leagues:

 

Age: Kindergarten-12th grade
When:

Games begin 1st week of December. Games are only played on Saturdays.

Practices will begin the first week of December. Practices are held weeknights.

Where:

Millcreek Community Center, local high school and middle schools

Fee: $60 for Kindergarten-8th Grade. $60 for High School Leagues

Includes 8 game sessions, jersey, practice time (for 2nd Grade and up) and 2 tickets to a Jazz Game.
