FALL T-BALL / COACH-PITCH BASEBALL Fall T Ball 

Fall T-Ball and Coach Pitch Baseball is for all youth 3 to 8 years old. This recreational baseball program is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball and promote sportsmanship in a fun, fair environment. T-Ball is for youth 3 to 6 years old & coach-Pitch for youth 7 and 8 years old. Two games will be played each week at the Oquirrh Park baseball fields (next to Beehive Elementary). One on a Tuesday or Thursday evening and the other on Saturday morning beginning September 13, 2014.

 

  

FALL OUTDOOR SOCCER

Fall Outdoor SoccerOutdoor Soccer is one of our most popular programs so register early to reserve your spot! This program is for all youth from Pre-K (at least 3 years old) through 8th grade. The 7th-8th grade all-girls or co-ed leagues are west-side travel leagues. Each team will play two games each week - one on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening and the other on Saturday beginning September 13, 2014. Cost is $36 and includes 8 sessions, a full team uniform (shirt, shorts & socks) and a participation award.

  

 

DIG-IT! YOUTH VOLLEYBALL  Youth Volleyball

DIG-IT! VOLLEYBALL is an instructional youth volleyball program designed to focus on learning the basics and improving skills. This program is for all youth in 3rd through 8th grades and will begin with an instructional clinic on September 13, 2014. Grades 3 - 5 will practice and play on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Grades 6 - 8 will practice and play on Mondays and Saturdays. All practices and games will be held at Kearns High School.

 

 

FALL FLAG FOOTBALL

Flag FootballOur Fall Flag Football program is a non-contact recreation football league for all boys and girls in 1st through 9th grades. The focus of this program will be on learning the fundamentals of football in a fun, fair environment. Cost is $31 and includes 8 sessions, team jersey, personal flag belt, and a participation award. Two games are played each week - one on a weeknight and the other one on Saturdays beginning September 13, 2014 at various west-side locations. 

 

  

HEAD INJURY POLICY - In March of 2011, Governor Gary Herbert signed HB 204 into law. This bill, known as the "Protection of Athletes with Head Injuries Act" requires all parents / legal guardians to receive a copy of our policy outlining procedures for protecting young athletes. You will be required to read this policy and agree to its terms before registering online or in person - Head Injury Release Form. Feel free to call us if you would like more information. Youth Sports Coach Certification and Discount Program. Receive a discount on your child's registration if you complete the course and volunteer to coach. We offer a variety of programs to keep your children busy during the upcoming summer season. Come check out the fun!

DANCE CLASSES

Dance Classes

GET UP AND DANCE! Our newly revised monthly dance program for all youth ages 3 to 12. Two classes are offered on Tuesday evenings:

Mini Dance Class for ages 3-5 runs from 6:00 to 7:00pm and is an introduction to dance. Young Dancers will learn the basics of rhythm and movement in a fun environment.

Junior Dance Class for ages 6-12 runs from 7:00 to 8:00pm and is designed for beginners and experienced dancers alike! This class is designed to build technique, self-esteem, teamwork and performing skills.

Callie Short, our new dance teacher, comes with years of dance and choreography experience and is excited to take this program to the next level!

 

 

Olympic Style Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do KarateA children’s program to help your child not only increase their fitness, flexibility and strength, but will also boost their confidence and self-discipline all while having fun!

Our adult program offers a workout that includes strength training, physical conditioning, flexibility, self-discipline, and street smarts put together in a comprehensive program.

Our State-licensed Child Care programs run year-round. We now have openings for your child.

 

NEW REFERRAL INCENTIVE! - We now offer a $50 credit towards your childcare if you refer someone who signs their children up for our childcare programs.

 

BACK-TO-SCHOOL!

Child CareWe are now taking registrations for our school-year childcare programs including Pre-School, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Before / After School and Jordan District Off-Track. Registrations are taken on a space-available, first-come, first-serve basis until classes are full - so don't wait!

  

Year-Round State-Licensed Child Care

We operate a State-licensed full-time child care operation with programs for Pre-School, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Before / After School and Jordan District Off-Track schedules. While your children are at our facility, we will provide them with a variety of recreational activities which promote their physical, emotional, social and creative skills development. Activities your children will participate in include cognitive and social skills learning, arts and crafts, games, sports, cooking experiences, and field trips to name a few. Child care programs are closed on the following holidays and tuition credits are not available for these days:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Pioneer Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday)
  • Christmas Day

 

We ask that you do not send toys, candy, gum or money from home in order to prevent lost or broken personal items and to prevent conflicts between children.

Specific information on our Child Care Programs: 

 

Children will participate in a variety of recreational activities which promote their physical, emotional, social and creative skills development including arts and crafts, games, sports, cooking experiences, and field trips to name a few.

We complete thorough background checks on all teachers and volunteers. Teachers receive a minimum of 20 hours of annual training to update their skills and improve their interaction with your children. We provide meals and snacks through a regulated and nationally recognized food program. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and waiting lists are taken to fill vacancies that become available.
