Salt Lake County is home to 15 incorporated cities ranging in size from nearly 182,000 people to less than 400. One city was incorporated more than 150 years ago while the most recent was established in 1999. City governments provide municipal services to nearly 600,000 Salt Lake County residents--although Salt Lake County Government provides those same services to another quarter million people.
