How do I arrange for a recycling container in unincorporated Salt Lake County?

No fee. Visit Recycling Program.

What items can be recycled?

Newspapers, cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum, and tin are all acceptable items for Salt Lake County Sanitation District’s curbside recycling program.

Electronic Waste

The Salt Lake Valley Health Department offeres e-waste recycling year-round and free of charge at two county collection facilities:

  • 6030 California Avenue
  • 10873 South 7200 West
