The Engineering Division is responsible for the planning, engineering design, and constructions of
county roads, highways, bridges, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage, and flood control facilities.
It also
regulates the flood control facilities and provides programs designed to reduce and prevent water pollution in the
unincorporated areas of Salt Lake County.
