The Salt Lake County Division of Community Resources and Development’s
mission is to increase the livability and quality of life in Salt Lake County
neighborhoods.
The Division provides programs and services which:
- Support community-based service agencies in order to decrease demand on government services.
- Expand the supply of decent, affordable housing for low-income citizens.
- Revitalize, upgrade, and beautify neighborhoods.
- Educate people about how to utilize their resources for maximum benefit.
- Serve the social, vocational/occupational, and academic needs of low-income and at-risk youth.
- Promote and encourage citizen participation and leadership.
