Since it was formally organized in 1978 the Salt Lake County Human Services Department
has provided direct services to thousands of residents.
Dedicated employees and
volunteers work side-by-side to be responsive to the needs of the citizens of Salt Lake County.
Within the structure of Salt Lake County Government the Human Services Department is one of the
three departments that report directly to the Mayor.
