Parks and Recreation employees work to enhance the quality of life of County residents by
providing diverse leisure time opportunities through the County’s park facilities
and recreation programs.

Established in 1946 the Parks and Recreation Division has
accomplished this goal through development of an integrated system of recreation service
delivery including a variety of parks, golf courses, swimming pools, and recreation centers.
Part of our success lies in the long-term partnerships with local school districts and
businesses in the community.
