Restoration project to address the damage caused by the crude oil releases of 2010 into Red Butte Creek. Proposing to use streambank bioengineering (e.g., live stakes) to replace vegetation, restore habitat, stabilize soils, protect water quality, and slow instream flood flows. Projects will be selected by DWQ on Feb 7, 2012. If we get the grant, the project will run through Nov 10, 2014 |
