Ombudsman Program
The Ombudsman program provides the following for people in nursing homes or assisted living facilities and their families:
- Information on how to select a nursing home or assisted living facility.
- Investigations of issues which affect residents? quality of life and care in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
- Information about resident?s rights and resources available to them.
- The Ombudsman works with residents, family and facility staff to resolve problems. Services are provided at no cost to the client or family.
