Becoming a Vendor
Salt Lake County provides automatic bid notification services to vendors through its provider, RFP Depot . RFP Depot brings together an extensive database of government agencies and vendors. This enables the County to improve its services by providing automatic bid notification and instant access to bid information via the Internet or fax-on-demand copies.
RFP Depot does not charge an annual membership fee and provides vendors with a number of important benefits, which include:
- Automatic and immediate notification of Requests for Bids and Requests for Proposals issued by Salt Lake County.
- Notification only of opportunities relevant to your business, as determined by the commodity codes you select by your choice of either e-mail of fax.
- Download capability for bid documents from the Internet at no additional charge.
- Purchasing information available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the web site or by fax.
Participation in the RFP Depot system is not a necessary requirement for doing business with the Salt Lake County. You can get bid information at no cost by reading the newspaper legal ads, or searching the Salt Lake County's web site for upcoming bid information. However, if you choose not to register with www.RFPDepot.com, you will not receive automatic bid notifications.
Register on-line at www.cp.slco.org/, by selecting the Vendor Information and Registration link or contact RFP Depot by calling (800) 990-9339. If you are already registered with RFP Depot you need not register again.
