Running a Home Business

There are three categories of home businesses called "Home Occupations."

Phone and Mail Home Occupation

A business using the home as an office (i.e., to receive mail, conduct paper work, and take phone calls).

Conditional Use Home Occupation
without Customers

A business that involves preparation or production (i.e., crafts, floral arrangements, etc.) where no customers will be coming to the home.

Conditional Use Home Occupation
with Customers

A business involving more than a basic office (example: tax service, repair shops, salon, etc.).
